How to Play

How it Works

The hunt kicks off for Red River Revel on September 25th, 2025! Puzzles will be available to pick up at the Red River Revel inside the J Bennett Johnston Visitor Center, or download and print the puzzles by going to www.solvingfun.com/revel through October 5th.

With a group of friends or family, solve the puzzles at your own pace. Each puzzle will lead you to a location on the Revel grounds where you will find a clue. Enter your answer on the puzzles page to find the clue location. When you get to the location, look for a sign with bold words on it (sample below). These words are clues for the final puzzle. The signs will not be hidden or buried and are on public land within the Red River Revel. You will not need to damage anything to find them. Write down the clue you need and leave the signs for future solvers. Put together the clues found at each location and figure out the final answer. Submit the final answer for a chance to win a prize!

Some of the puzzle directions may seem unclear. Figuring out how to solve is often part of the puzzle itself. Try different strategies to solve. If you need help, feel free to go to the hints page or reach out to Solving Fun.

Safety Reminders

The Solving Fun Puzzle Pals and the Red River Revel want all of our community members to be safe and have fun. Be mindful of all laws and safety regulations as you explore our city. Clues are posted in visible areas and on public property. If you experience an emergency, call 911.

Water Safety

The Red River Revel is located in downtown Shreveport along the banks of the Red River. As a reminder, when you are around water, please be safe and follow recommendations like these from the American Red Cross.

Prizes

When you've completed the puzzles and figured out the final answer, you can submit them for prizes. To submit your entry, go to the final puzzle's clue location during the Revel!
